Spiritually Fed!

I had a really rough morning... Spent most of it bawling my eyes out, shut in my room, watching the snow fall and feeling despair when I most needed comfort.

Then a dear friend of mine (she's an absolute angel!) spent 30 minutes on the phone with me, lifting me up, making me smile, and giving me hope! I feel so much better now!


She shared so many thoughts with me that apply to my life right now, but those thoughts also apply to many people in many different situations, so I want to share them with you! Hopefully some thought here will feed you spiritually as much as it has fed me!

President Howard W. Hunter has said, “Please remember this one thing. If our lives and our faith are centered upon Jesus Christ and his restored gospel, nothing can ever go permanently wrong. On the other hand, if our lives are not centered on the Savior and his teachings, no other success can ever be permanently right”
(“‘Fear Not, Little Flock,’” 1988–89 Devotional and Fireside Speeches, Provo: Brigham Young University Press, 1989, p. 112).

When you aren't sure what to do next, sometimes the Lord will close all the doors but one.

God will help you overcome all obstacles (real or imagined),
just keep moving forward!
If you stop now because you think the obstacles are insurmountable,
you'll never see the end result.

Take a moment to realize how bad things could be...
and then be grateful for how good you have it!

You are in control of your own attitude!

Doctrine and Covenants 6:23
"Did I not speak ^apeace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater ^bwitness can you have than from God?"

God is in control! Do not be afraid!

Your patience and faith are not in vain!
God will work all things for your good!

1 John 5:3-5
