This week has been a beautiful one! We were blessed to be able to spend lots of time with family, and we enjoyed the snow! :)
On Tuesday, Ryan got to try some new things in physical therapy. They had him jog on a treadmill, which was difficult for him, but was also very helpful. They also had him do some soccer drills to work on his reflexes and coordination. Here are some small videos of those things.
For occupational therapy, Ryan re-took the test to see if he's ready to start driving again. We won't get the results of that test until this week, but we all noticed significant improvements over the last time he took the test!
After therapy sessions, we had an appointment with a dietician to go over dietary changes for living with celiac disease. The dietician was helpful, and also impressed at how much we already knew from what friends and family had shared with us. Thank you everyone, for your tips! The dietician also encouraged us to make our home gluten-free, since Ryan has such a severe reaction to gluten. Cutting it out of our house completely will drastically reduce the chances of cross-contamination.
We spent the rest of the week at my parent's home, and we had such a great time! My parents went out of their way to create a gluten-free Thanksgiving feast, as well as making every other meal gluten-free. 💜💜💜 All of the food was so yummy, and I learned more techniques for baking gluten-free. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the food!
I did get a few other pictures though! Some dear friends gave us an early Christmas gift, which allowed us to take the girls to see Frozen II in theater. That was a great movie, and we had such a fun time! Even Ryan was glad we went to that movie, because it teaches some great values and has some really great songs! :)
We also went to the temple to do some more baptisms for the dead, and we got to visit Ryan's grandparents and his parents. The girls had a blast playing in the snow with Grandpa Muench! :)
My mom has been doing some cleaning and organizing at her house, and she came across some old photos of Ryan and I that I thought would be fun to share. :) (They're blurry because I just snapped pictures of them instead of scanning them...)

The photographer at this dance had all of the girls in our group give their dates a piggy-back ride. :D

This photo had something spilled on it, but it's still fun to look at!

These are the proofs from our engagement photo shoot. :) Once again, sorry for the poor quality.
This month, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is doing an awesome initiative called #LightTheWorld. According to the official website: "#LightTheWorld is an invitation to transform Christmas into a season of service. Join us as we follow the example of Jesus Christ by ministering to others one by one—just like He did." You can sign up online to receive a simple suggestion for giving service each day, and you don't have to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ in order to participate. I love this! It helps me to keep a better perspective during this busy season and find fun ways to bring light to others' lives. :) Today's suggestion was, "Next time you get a text, tell the sender why you value them." 😍
