Insane Search for a Place to Rent

Ok - so Ryan, Nicole, and I are moving to Klamath Falls, Oregon so that Ryan can go back to school. We weren't really planning on moving until later in the year, cause Ryan was going to start school this fall, but then he kept losing hours at work, and we found out that he can start this spring instead. Well, then we found out that he has to be on campus two weeks before classes start so he can register for classes, which gave us two weeks to find a place to live!!! CRAZY!!!!!!! So we took a trip to Klamath Falls to see what we could find. I was amazed at how many places were available to rent, but they were almost all houses or duplexes (not many apartments in K-Falls...), but trying to find the right place for us was a big joke! Either the place was nice, but didn't allow pets...or it allowed pets, but it was gross or two blocks away from a registered sex offender...or it was way too small...or it was way too expensive...etc, etc, etc... Then we found a great place and we fell in love with it immediately! We sent in our application and waited an ENTIRE WEEK for them to get back to us (with me calling or e-mailing almost every day, and the only reply was, "I'm sorry, we're just really busy, but we're working on it"). Then, just one week before we're supposed to move, they call and say, "Sorry, someone else applied a few hours before you did, so we gave it to the first applicants." Grrr...... So I spent all night Friday and all day Saturday frantically trying to find another place that met our needs. We found another house that we fell in love with (well, we fell in love with the pictures of the house that were e-mailed to us), but this morning the owners e-mailed and said that they gave it to another lady who got there before us. *sighs* And now, I think we finally found the place that we will be calling home. It's small, but nice. The owners are great. And as long as none of our references give a horrible review of us, we will have a place to move in to in four days! Hurray!!! (Sorry for the long rant...I've just been really stressed and frustrated, if you couldn't tell!)
