We are back home after a week and a half vacation to Idaho! It was a great trip - full of fun with family and friends! ;) I'm so grateful for our family and friends who worked hard to make this a memorable holiday for us all!
Here are a few hi-lights:
- 4 separate Christmas celebrations! :)
- Seeing a "Live Nativity"! :)
- My awesome sister-in-law upgraded my phone to an SII for me! :)
- We were completely spoiled! :)
- Helping Grandpa Beard feed the cows and going on a horse-drawn sleigh ride! :)
- Enjoying a white Christmas! :)
- Skiing/snowboarding at Kelly Canyon! :)
- Ice Skating! :)
- Good news from friends...! (more about this later) :)
- LOTS of time with family! :)
- A new member added to our family (see below)! :)
That adorable little kitten is called Cheeto, and she was Nicole's big Christmas gift this year! :) Grandma Muench picked her out and took care of her until we got to Rexburg, and it was love at first sight for all of us! :) We brought Cheeto home with us yesterday, and she was a little scared in the car at first, but she quickly got used to things and soon decided she liked being "queen of the car" and sat anywhere she pleased! ;)
We also brought Uncle Tom home with us - another awesome addition to our home (for a couple months, anyway)! Tom will be doing his externship right next to where Ryan is doing his externship, and he'll be staying with us for the next two months. The only thing that would make this arrangement better would be if his wife, Kimberly, could be here as well!
So, now we've left behind all the pretty snow of Idaho, and we're back to the brown of Oregon. It's a new year, and I pray it will be a year full of good news! I've got a lot of posts to make, and I'm sure it will take me a few days to get them all up, but I'll work at getting them done quickly! :)
