My Daddy! :)

Last month we celebrated my dad's 60th birthday!!!  :)  Every ten years, he gets a combined birthday party with a good friend/neighbor, who is also named Richard.  For their 40th birthdays, the theme was Over-the-Hill.  For their 50th birthdays, they did old geezer games.  And this year's theme was Super Heroes (because we think they're super!!!)!  :)  Here are some fun pics from the party.  :) :) :) 

Nicole sure loves her Grandpa!  She drew a picture for him, which included a bunch of super heroes (Batman, Superman, etc.), as well as Grandpa in a cape with the caption "Super Grandpa Man."  :)

 The tables were all decorated with different Super Heroes.

Jake and Ashley did an amazing job making all of these delicious cupcakes (complete with raspberry or lemon filling)!  :)  There was one giant cupcake for each of the "birthday boys," which had their pictures on the front.

They also wore capes throughout the party, in true super hero fashion.  :)  And then we made them take big bites out of their giant cupcakes…  :)

Dad got frosting on his nose, so he "shaved" it off with a butter knife. :)

Yvonne and my mom (and everyone else who helped out) did an awesome job putting this party together!  It was a fun evening!  :)  Love you, Daddy!!!
