It has been so great being with my girls again! And they LOVED spending time with their daddy this afternoon! They got some snuggle time with him, and lots of talking time. We were even able to have a family prayer, and Ryan offered it. 💜💜💜 Becca told him before the prayer to make sure he prayed for himself to keep getting better. But instead of praying for himself, Ryan prayed for all those in worse situations that we are in. He is so kind, and always thinking of others. I love that about him! 💜💜💜
Ryan made a lot more progress today, and I'm sad that I wasn't there to witness it all, but I am very grateful that his mother was there to see his achievements and share them with us! Here are some great things Ryan was able to do today:
- Brush his own teeth!
- Bring a cup of ice to his mouth to eat it on his own!
- Stand up 4 more times with assistance!
- Sit up for a while with very little support/assistance!
- Eat an entire cup of tapioca pudding!
- Work hard all day without taking a nap!
Ryan's therapist also gave him a BYU bean bag to work on passing back and forth for coordination. He'll work on regaining his juggling skills. ;)
Also, we did have many great friends step up and offer to watch our dogs, so they are now well-taken care of with back-up plans in place. Thank you so much to everyone!!! 💜💜💜
