Happy Thanksgiving...In January...Because I'm Really Slow... ;)

On Nicole's last day of school before Thanksgiving Break, she came home looking like a pilgrim! :) She also had made a cute little Indian outfit with a brown paper bag. We were very blessed to be able to go visit my brother, Jeremy, and his family for Thanksgiving last year, and we enjoyed it very much!
They took us to some incredible parks (gotta love California for their warm weather and their cool parks)! This fun climbing apparatus was made of cord and small metal hooks. I think all the "kids" spent the most time on this baby! (The biggest kid, at the top there, is my brother.)
Even big boy Ryan couldn't resist the urge to climb! ;)
Up, up, and away!
Wish we had one of these around here!
Then we went to another park, which had some amazing trees...

...and the coolest slide ever! This baby is made out of concrete, and it is steep and fast!
Jeremy brought cardboard for us to slide down on, but there were some Taco Bell food trays laying there (brought by some other sliders), so we used those, too. :)
Our favorite part of being in California was the time that we got to spend with Jeremy and Sarah, but, of course, I didn't get pictures of them. :( Sarah ran a 5K on Thanksgiving morning, and she did a great job. We had a lot of fun learning how to play Settlers of Catan, too! Thanks, guys, for a great Thanksgiving!!! :) :) :)
