"My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment;
"And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes" (D&C 121:7-8).
"It was then that I came to clearly understand that the Lord's promises about the briefness of adversity, the exaltation that would come, and the experience we would gain all hinge on a key phrase: 'if thou endure it well.'"
"All victory and glory is brought to pass unto you through your diligence, faithfulness, and prayers of faith" (D&C 103:36).
"When we strive to keep the commandments, our faith serves as an anchor that gives us power to move forward and strength to battle adversity."
"We came to know that as we endure our trials and afflictions with diligence, faithfulness, and prayers of faith, we can learn to have joy through--and despite--our suffering."
~Quotes from "If Thou Endure It Well" by Elder Francisco J. Vinas, Ensign, July 2009.

How very true.....we must endure it well! How hard that is sometimes, but through our faith in the Savior we can do it.
