Missing Mitzi

I've been moping a bit this weekend because I miss Mitzi!  She had a beautiful baby boy on the 17th of this month, but they are all the way down in Arizona, and we are all the way up here in Idaho, so we have only been able to see pictures of the little guy.

So, I thought I'd post some pictures from the beginning of August, when Ryan and I took a quick trip to Arizona to help Mitzi and Jaren move down there.  Miss you guys!!!

This is a poor picture of the inside wall of their garage, but you get the idea.  Creative, eh? ;)

After unloading all of their belongings into their new home, we decided to go check out their community swimming pool.

Here are a couple shots of their front yard/the front of their house.

:)  Ryan always makes me laugh! :)

Jaren ... and Mitzi!  :)

Their move was full of adventures!  When they first got to their house, they found that their freezer wouldn't open - it was totally stuck closed.  They turned the fridge/freezer off for a few hours, and when they finally got it open, this is what they found!

The previous homeowners had removed the bin that catches the ice from the ice maker, but then they had turned off the electricity to the house, so it was no big deal, right?  Wrong!  Mitzi and Jaren had the electricity turned back on so that the A/C would cool down the house before they arrived!  So, the ice maker just kept making ice and filling up the freezer!

Their next big adventure came when, during their first night sleeping there, their A/C unit pooped out on them!  They woke up to an 85 degree house, which just got hotter and hotter as the sun rose in the sky!  Poor Mitzi, who was almost 9 months pregnant and completely swollen!  So they got a little A/C unit and put it in the master bedroom, and Mom and Dad Klingler moved into that room to sleep.  But even with that little A/C unit, the master bedroom never got below 80 degrees!  And they had to wait 3 days before their main A/C unit was repaired!

I had to take some pictures of the plants in Arizona.  :)  Our hotel had a neat little garden out front with all the different variety of cacti labeled.  These are just a few of them.

And last, but not least, Jaren and Mitzi with their very first load of laundry in their new home!  :)
